ZA/UM
Disco Elysium / ZA/UM
Finding room for new ideas within an established world.

ZA/UM initially hired me to design an artbook. The assignment evolved into developing potential design assets around the world of Disco Elysium, alongside expanding its existing lore.
The commission
The initial artbook assignment grew into an opportunity to explore ideas and visual material within the established world.
My contribution
I developed analytical diagrams, iconography and design explorations, translating ideas from the property into my own visual approach.
Project context
This work took place after the game’s release. These are potential design assets and explorations, not a claim of authorship of the released game’s narrative or of adoption into a released project.
Post-release design explorations for ZA/UM. Existing game elements and source annotations remain identified in the sheets. The banner above is official promotional artwork.
